Sunny and Seventy in Seattle

We roadtripped the five hours to Seattle this weekend... and it was AMAZING!  We decided to drive to Tacoma on Thursday night after work and stay with Katy Ann and Ashley.  We woke up early and left at 7:30AM to make the 45 minute drive to Seattle.
The Cascades
Near the Gorge

Since it was cloudy, the first thing we did was the Experience Music Project in Seattle Center

Me with all of the Supreme's costumes!

Look who we found! Mary Wilson from the Supremes!

Testing out our vocals in the recording studio!

The sun came out later and we walked on the board walk downtown! Beautiful!

Famous Ivar's Fish and chips! Yes, I ate fried fish with the seagulls!

Joseph and Dwight!

More of the boardwalk!

We were riding around Bellevue and Lake Washington, where Bill Gates and Martha Stewart's bf lives!  We happened to run into this family who lives on this lake...mega money!  They offered to give us an up close and personal tour of Seattle by the water... How lucky is that?  But we turned them down...

Sunset over Lake Washington

Driving into Seattle on a beautiful Sunny day... look at those beautiful mountains

The first ever Starbucks!

Breakfast in Pike's Place Market.  A picture of the kitchen where we ate crepes for breakfast!
Talk about fresh!
Joseph's breakfast crepe filled with nutella, fresh strawberries and whipped cream! YUMMY!

Unfortunately, we didn't get to catch a fish!

Fish Market!
The fish were ginormous!

There were people everywhere!

Headed to the Space Needle on a beautiful day!

Views from the top!

Mt Rainier in all it's glory, with Safeco field (Home of the Mariners!)

Just hanging out in Sculpture Park, enjoying the sunshine

Happiness

About to take a nap on Emerald City's lush green grass!

Next we headed to the hippie Fremont District where we ran into the troll that ate the billygoats!
Notice the billy goat

Me and Joseph!  He is eating a Volkswagon Beetle!

Mt Rainier is just a presence over Seattle on a sunny day

I will leave you with a beautiful sunset over the Emerald City

The locals say that "Seattle is like being married to a beautiful woman who is always sick"... we didn't see that side!

We still miss you all!
